We are pleased to announce the 1st Conference of the Spanish Society of Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine (CIABiomed), which will take place on 23 and 24 October 2025 at the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain. This conference has been created with the aim of establishing itself as a national reference point for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of Artificial Intelligence applied to biomedicine.

CIABiomed 2025 will bring together researchers, professionals from the health and technology sectors, as well as students from various disciplines, to discuss the latest scientific advances, current challenges and future prospects in the ethical, rigorous and responsible use of AI in the biomedical field. The topics of the congress will range from the development of models and algorithms to their implementation in real clinical environments, including aspects such as ethics, explainability, interoperability and technology transfer.

Attendees will be able to enjoy keynote lectures, oral presentations, scientific posters and other informative formats that will foster dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition, the programme will include sessions focusing on outstanding research projects, clinical experiences, and opportunities for transfer between academia and industry.
